An evaluation is a whole-book assessment: I read the complete manuscript and deliver a 5–8 page editorial letter with revision priorities, without comments on every page. A full developmental edit goes deeper, with extensive margin comments throughout plus an 8–12 page editorial letter and a practical revision roadmap. The evaluation diagnoses; the full edit diagnoses and annotates.

Opening Chapters Critiques and Editorial Consultations are paid in full when booked. Manuscript Evaluations and Full Developmental Edits use a 50% deposit to reserve your dates, with the balance due when the edit is complete and before final materials are delivered. All prices are in U.S. dollars.

Opening Chapters Critiques take 7 business days. Manuscript Evaluations take 10–20 business days depending on length. Full Developmental Edits take 20–40 business days. Consultations are a single scheduled 60-minute call. Turnaround begins once all materials and required payment are received, and current availability is always listed at the top of the homepage.
